Archives of the new myapps website will appear here...

11th April 2004

Welcome to yet another redesign of myapps website. As you can see, I've decided to create a new subdomain to house the entire website and also changed the font used. Today, I'm proud to announce a new version of ACE - 2.3 - which includes some changes to the user interface and code too. Refer to the product page for more details. That's all for now.

The really old news...

15th May 2003

Ah-ha! Managed to find some free time to do a little updates on ACE and Master Compiler. The common update for both apps is the ability to search through the list of additional command-line options (aka parameters) easily. The Run window is further improved (at version 1.2 now) with the ability to recall the output for the last compilation even after you have closed the window. Further updates in Master Compiler include some bug fixes and the addition of a new 'Error keywords' feature that lets you tell Master Compiler any error-associated words to look out for in the compiler's output results so as to signal a failed compilation. Hence, there is yet another revision for the profile version used by Master Compiler.

8th April 2003

ACE version 2.1 and Master Compiler 1.3 is now avaible for download from Simtel.net as well. Unfortunately, they are not the 'spiced' up version I've released yesterday, but that was only a very minor update.

This is probably the last update to come in the near future. School's starting. :(

7th April 2003

Just some updates to both ACE and Master Compiler. I've done a minor change for each. For Master Compiler, I've added a command button into the help page to let you easily download Master Compiler profiles. For ACE, I've simply re-compiled it with a newer Run version that was in Master Compiler 1.3. This version difference over the original version used in ACE version 2.1 is simply the additional display of the string of commands passed into MS-DOS, so in case ACE can't compile due to a bizarre reason (which I'll like to know), you can copy the string of commands passed into the MS-DOS command prompt itself and give it a run. :) Both versions remained unchanged.

1st April 2003

Yeah, I know it's April Fool's Day today, but the following piece of news is true. :) Anyway, following the update on ACE, I'm now proud to announce the release of Master Compiler 1.3! There are a couple of major improvements inside this new version, and I'll strongly urge you to check it out.

That's all for now. :)

28th March 2003

Proudly presenting ACE 2.1! Includes a few bug fixes, 'visual improvements' and an enhanced Run window. Check out the link on the navbar to ACE for more information.

Also, I've designed a logo for myapps. Is it nice? I hope so. :)

Lastly, I hope to get started on doing some minor improvements on Master Compiler. Hopefully, I can release it in a day or two's time.

So there!

5th January 2003

Firstly, a big Happy New Year greeting to all!

Secondly, I'm proud to annouce the beta release of MineBlower - the Minesweeper game I've been hyping about since the re-launch of myapps! :D Do give it a try, I promise you that it's one game you've never tried before!

21st December 2002

Just some minor updates to the layout. I've also fixed a bug in Numwiz 6.2.

So there!

14th December 2002

Welcome to the new myapps homepage!

Some big news here. Firstly, to give my applications an image, to show that it is done by me, I have standardize the Help window for all current and future applications that I'll be doing. Speaking about a new Help window, all current and future applications will just future a quick-help read in the Help window, and there will be a link to a more proper walkthrough online which can be downloaded. Unfortunately, the online walkthroughs for my applications wouldn't appear immediately as yet, you may have to give me maybe about two weeks to get it done.

Secondly, to make my applications easier to use, I've dropped the idea of zipping them up, which means that all current and future applications are just going to feature one executable file to run. So you can simply download and use them!

Lastly, a news so big that I think I've outdone myself, is that now ACE and Master Compiler are sharing a similar code base, and that Run.exe is finally gone! Basically, I've done a major code re-write for ACE by borrowing some code from Master Compiler and added some enhancements (one of which is to do with Run.exe, of course) and label it version 2.0, and then I borrowed the enhancements I added for ACE over to Master Compiler, and named it version 1.2! To find out more about the 'abolishment' of Run.exe, check out either of the applications' latest version description in the listing, which just reminded me that on the website side (tongue twister?), I've changed slightly the layout for the applications' pages.

So there!
